MyZenCheck Editorial and Review Policy
This policy applies to articles, glossary entries, comparison pages, research explanations, product claims, schema, and machine-readable AI-search files.
Purpose and scope
MyZenCheck publishes educational material about visible tongue characteristics, TCM terminology, product operation, privacy, and limitations. Content must not present the software as a medical device or substitute for qualified care.
Authorship and accountability
Each publication must identify a responsible author or the MyZenCheck editorial team. TCM contribution, technical review, privacy review, and medical-safety review are separate roles and must be labeled separately. A contributor cannot be presented as an independent reviewer of their own work.
Sources and claim verification
- Health and research claims require claim-level primary or authoritative sources.
- Every DOI, PMID, title, author list, year, and nearby claim must be checked against the publisher, PubMed, or Crossref.
- External studies must not be described as validation of MyZenCheck.
- Internal numbers require a versioned public methodology before publication.
- Testimonials, cases, outcomes, prescriptions, credentials, memberships, and superlatives require documentary evidence and appropriate consent.
Medical safety
Conventional explanations and red flags appear before optional product prompts. MyZenCheck does not recommend individual herbs, supplements, medicines, or therapies. “Medically reviewed” is used only when a named, appropriately licensed professional has reviewed the specific page.
AI assistance
AI may assist with outlining, language, translation, or quality checks. A human publisher remains accountable for factual review, citations, safety, originality, and corrections. AI-generated personas, credentials, quotations, cases, or references are prohibited.
Conflicts and funding
Commercial relationships, affiliate links, compensation, product ownership, and relevant reviewer conflicts must be disclosed where they could affect interpretation. Editorial claims are not approved merely because they support conversion.
Translations
Only complete, quality-reviewed translations are indexable. Localized pages must preserve safety meaning, sources, and product limitations; unavailable local product flows are disclosed.
Updates and corrections
Material updates receive a visible date and change summary. Substantive errors are corrected promptly under the corrections policy. Readers can report issues through contact.
